Wicked Plants

I went to the Conservatory of Flowers last Saturday with my pal, Traci, and a group of fellow artists. The Conservatory's current exhibit, Wicked Plants, is fascinating. Their website states that the exhibit "introduces visitors to living examples of dozens of infamous plants that have left their mark on history and claimed many an unfortunate victim." The trip resulted in the following sketchbook pages, plus Thai lunch.

It'd be great to make it back on a nicer day to paint a picture of the Conservatory itself, which is a giant Victorian greenhouse built in 1878.
